    I Uploaded My Event – How Do I Find It?

    After you get a successful "event published" message from the event upload form, your event will be published to the community calendar. You can visit that screen and either browse to the day or search for the event in order to see its details.

    Is There a Cost to Add My Event to the Community Calendar?

    Nope - uploading an event to the calendar is free. If you want to get additional exposure for your event you can take advantage of Big Gay Hudson Valley's advertising program.

The details of and experiences at each event are the sole responsibility of the organizer and do not necessarily reflect the viewpoints of Big Gay Hudson Valley. If you have a question or feedback about an event, we encourage you to contact the organizer or location directly.

Over the last two years Pride In The Sky has broug Over the last two years Pride In The Sky has brought together thousands of members of our community to kick off Pride season on the Walkway Over the Hudson in Poughkeepsie + Highland, New York. We’re so excited to bring this FREE event back for a third year on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 3pm to 10pm. Looking back over the photos of the people of Pride In The Sky, one of the most profound things that stands out to us is the diversity of the attendees. This event is for everyone and its truly makes us PROUD to see how the Walkway continues to connect us ALL for an evening of pure joy 212 ft. in the air above the Hudson River. As the editorial team at Chronogram recently wrote: “Pride in the Sky has, in short order, become one of those events that feels inevitable in retrospect. The Walkway—once a railroad bridge, now a linear park—was always going to be a stage for something like this. The only surprise is how quickly it has filled that role, drawing thousands into a shared space where celebration and landscape reinforce each other. Pride, here, doesn’t just march.
