Unicorn Bar presents: Paisley Fields with Colton Thorn
Join us on Saturday, April 11th for live queer, country tunes from Paisley Fields & our very own Colton Thorn!
@paisleyjamesfields is a Brooklyn/ Nashville-based queer country artist touring in support of their 4th studio release, out April 2026 on Don Giovanni Records. Paisley’s music is a celebration of their queer identity and rural roots, with influences drawn from experiences growing up in Iowa. This connection through music has not only resonated with listeners but has also earned accolades, such as his track “Burn This Statehouse Down,” which was highlighted by NPR music critic Ann Powers as one of her favorite songs of 2023.
Beyond their solo work, Paisley Fields was a touring member of the pioneering queer-country group, Lavender Country, and has collaborated with artists such as Bob the Drag Queen and Scarlet Envy.
@ctthorn_, MT-BC (he/they) is a board certified music therapist, singer-songwriter, and a multi-instrumentalist and voice teacher. They have a wide variety of tender, original songs about transitions, love, grief, and even Oreos. Colton’s songs are folky with a bit of bounce. They’re currently in graduate school for their master’s degree in music therapy. Colton believes music can empower through expression and provide an “in the moment” connection.
