Drag Story Hour with Katarina Mirage & Anthony Ortiz
Drag Story Hour is designed to be a fun and fabulous educational experience, celebrating gender and cultural diversity to build empathy and give kids the confidence to express themselves however they feel comfortable.
Katarina Mirage will be joined by Anthony Ortiz, an English for New Learners (ENL) teacher in the Newburgh Enlarged City School District, will be reading “Julian Is A Mermaid (Julián Es Una Sirena)” by Jessica Love and “Twas the Night Before Pride (La Víspera de Orgullo) by Joanna McClintick” in English and Spanish.
Books donated by Rough Draft Bar & Books for this event and as a permanent addition to the Community Center’s Fred Mayo Library.
