Phantom of the Paradise with live shadow cast performance
Phantom of the Paradise is a 1974 American Rock Opera film written and directed by Brian De Palma. The story is a loosely adapted mixture of The Phantom of the Opera, The Picture of Dorian Gray and Faust and also briefly references Frankenstein and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Initially, it was a box office flop, but the film was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe and has since acquired a significant cult following.
The film is rated PG, however the performance includes adult language. Not recommended for those under 18 years of age.
NOTE: No outside props allowed. Showtimes may change. Arrive 30 minutes early for tickets and other purchases!
