Opening Reception – Taking Shape: Nova Darkstar
On view from 5/16 through 6/13 with an opening reception on Saturday, 5/16 from 5-7 PM, “Taking Shape” is a survey of artist Nova Darkstar’s work from 2020 through 2025. The show captures a period of creative and personal transformation that encompassed their MFA degree program and coming out process as a trans. With “Taking Shape,” Nova aims to create a safe, playful space that celebrates queerness and transness while encouraging all viewers to embrace the truth of who they are.
