Key of Q One Day Chorus
One Day. One Chorus. One Big Sound. One Great Cause.
Key of Q, the Hudson Valley’s own LGBTQ+ & allied a cappella chorus, is excited to announce its second One Day Chorus, a community event for singers who love to sing and want to be a part of the gang for just one afternoon! This special event invites participants to experience the joy of choral singing – no audition, and no weekly commitment required.
The One Day Chorus asks for just one afternoon of participation. Attendees will join the members of Key of Q to learn a single song together in full four-part a cappella harmony, culminating in a joyful, collective sing-out. The emphasis is on community, connection, and the simple thrill of making music together.
There’s no pressure, just great harmonies, great vibes, and a room full of people who love singing. The afternoon is paired with cocktails or mocktails, plenty of laughter, and a celebratory atmosphere that reflects Key of Q’s inclusive and welcoming spirit.
Proceeds from the One Day Chorus will benefit Trans Closet of the Hudson Valley, a project by and for members of the local trans community, providing clothes, gender-affirming supplies, and other resources without question or cost.
