It has become more clear than ever in the last few months that we must safeguard our joy and demand to be seen.
Queer liberation started with a demand — Stonewall was a rebellion after all — But we didn’t bring this fight, we just want to live truthfully like anyone else.
Authenticity has become an act of bravery, showing your truth to the world; an act of love. So love boldly, love big, take up space and don’t back down in the face of resistance.
The only way is through, and no one should have to do it alone. Loving bravely means grabbing on to every person you love with both hands and building a community. We are a small but mighty group of Queer individuals and allies looking to carve out our own space in these idyllic river towns. So join Greenburgh-Rivertowns Pride while we create a safe space that is big enough for everyone.
