Community Day – Celebrating 50 Years of Opus 40
50 years ago, on May 9th, 1976 we lost Harvey Fite in a tragic accident.
50 years ago, work stopped on his extraordinary sculptural landscape.
To commemorate that day, while celebrating the life and work of that incredible force of nature, Harvey Fite, we’re holding Community Day on May 9th, 2026.
This event is free for all residents of the mid-Hudson Valley (Sullivan, Orange, Putnam, Duchess, Columbia, Greene, and Ulster Counties) but donations are always appreciated!
