JAYE MCBRIDE is funny, smart and proudly transgender. Jaye is the first openly transgender comedian to perform at Madison Square Garden is a regular at New York City’s “Comedy Cellar”. In 2021 she was featured as one of the “New Faces” at the Just For Laugh’s comedy festival and has also been featured at The Boston and Limestone Comedy Festivals.
ANDY MONK has somehow spun inadequate coping mechanisms gained through a lifetime of mild inconveniences into comedy bronze. Andy grew up in New York City where he first began developing the kind of deep neurosis and hypervigilance that you just can’t find anywhere else. He moved to Kingston in 2015, and misses soup dumplings terribly. Andy started doing comedy as his drag alter-ego Sis Jenner, but after taking Lauren Kincheloe’s standup class, realized that doing standup as a man saves countless hours putting on makeup and is just as embarrassing. Andy also plans and hosts events around the Hudson Valley including The Audacity, the afterparties at the Spiegeltent at Bard’s Fisher Center, and Queer Conspiracy parties like Sheaster. Most importantly, Andy is kind of a bitch.
CAROLINE CONTILLO has been doing queer performance art and comedy for almost two decades. She has worked with institutions like NYC’s Dixon Place and Brooklyn’s The Spectrum, has starred in the offest-possible Broadway plays Witch Prison and Cocktails at the Center of the Earth, played guitar and sang in an all girl surf rock band called Automated Teller Machine Machine, and participated in a number of Brooklyn public access television shows. Since moving to the Hudson Valley she has had a goal of cultivating community around being queer, funny, and bold. She is co-host of the queer comedy open mic Mic Mother (with Andy Monk) and can often be found at Hudson Valley Improv performances.
