Aw Di Body brings the groove and beats from the African continent to the Hudson Valley. in Sierra Leone “Aw di body?” is a Krio phrase asking “how are you” — may your answer be: Di body fayn!
Bombón is a perreo gathering where mainstream and experimental perreo sounds meet. We blast the new bangers, the nostalgic oldies and lift up el genero’s underdogs. We are based in the so-called Hudson Valley, primarily Kingston, NY. As we gather, we invite all attendees to co-create safe, intentional, liberated dance floors where we can express our energy and identity freely while centering and uplifting queer black and brown experiences.
