Athens Pride is pleased to announce its SIXTH ANNUAL flag raising and gathering to take place Sunday June 1 at 5:00 pm at the Athens Riverfront Park at the base of Second St. Come join us and show your pride and solidarity. In 2025 we declare MORE PRIDE – LESS PREJUDICE. Many states and our federal government have or are trying to legislate against the human rights of LGBTQ people and families and we say HANDS OFF!
We CELEBRATE the courage and resilience of LGBTQ people past, present and future and declare this year’s slogan : “MORE PRIDE – LESS PREJUDICE”
A limited number of Yard signs and pride flags will be available at the event ($15 flag/$20 yard sign) at the park.
