6th Annual Putnam Pride 2025

Putnam Pride Invites You and Your Friends to their 6th Annual Pride Celebration

Rally at the Putnam County Courthouse and March Down Gleneida Avenue from 1-2pm
Celebration at Veterans Memorial Park from 1-5pm

On Saturday, June 14, the sounds of love and inclusivity will once again ring off the beautiful hills of Putnam County at the 6th annual Putnam Pride Celebration! This rain-or-shine event will kick off at 1pm at the Putnam County Courthouse in downtown Carmel with a rally and march. Beloved hosts Angel Elektra and Shay D’Pines will then lead marchers down Gleneida Avenue to the rainbow flag sign at Gilead Presbyterian Church (a welcoming congregation). After returning to the courthouse, attendees will head to Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park in Kent for a celebration starting at 2pm. Expect more great entertainment and speakers than ever before at this event that everyone agrees “gets better every year!”

If you prefer not to join the rally or march, you may go directly to the park, where there will be vendors and music beginning at 1pm as well.

Angel Elektra and Shay D’Pines, along with crowd favorite DJ Brittany, will welcome Starr, Sly Saturn, Amber Guesa, Mx. Diagnonsense, and I.Den.t.T to the stage this year. Angel Elektra called this year’s mix of artists an “all-inclusive cast highlighting our trans brothers and sisters!” Back by popular demand, the 4pm Open Mic, hosted by I.Den.t.T., will provide a chance for you to share your talents with the most loving crowd imaginable.

There will also be speakers representing local organizations throughout the day who will share the important work they are doing to protect and create space for the LGBTQ+ community in Putnam. A full list of speakers will be available soon at PutnamPride.com.

Don’t forget to stop by the “House of Pride” pavilion to see our new limited-edition batch of handmade shirts, available for a $10 donation, and to grab a “Pride Guide”!

A brand-new photo booth, 40 local vendors, face painting, food trucks, ice cream and a kids’ tent will round out the perfect summer day with friends old and new. As one Putnam Pride attendee said, “I can’t believe this is happening in my town. We needed this!”

Putnam Pride is also made possible by the following generous sponsors: Hudson Valley Credit Union, Northwell Health/Nuvance Health, Putnam County Tourism, Hudson Valley Shakespeare, Split Rock Books, Thai Golden, Impact Psychological Services, Black Cat Boutique, Forward Motion Counseling, and the Law Offices of Joseph J. Tock.
