Average Joey Zine Release & Variety Show!

Average Joey is a traveling musician, songwriter, zine author, and poet. In this one time performance, Joey and his collaborators will present a variety show blending a wide scope of art forms – puppetry, poetry, live music, burlesque, and more – to tell an interwoven story that grapples with climate chaos, ego death, hope and connection.

This event will also serve as a “zine” release party. Joey will be presenting and sharing excerpts from a few new writing pieces he’s been working tirelessly on, and is ready to send off into the world.

Join us for an experimental evening of singing and celebrating together even as we express grief and rage. When we process these together, we can find some faith in each other.
