5th Annual D.R.A.W.-A-Thon A Free, Family-friendly Drawing Marathon! KINGSTON, N.Y. (date) – On Saturday August 2nd from 10am – 10pm The D.R.A.W. (the arts education program of the Midtown Kingston Arts District, MKAD) will host the 5th Annual Draw-A-Thon -- a 12-hour drawing extravaganza for all ages. Based on the renowned 24-hour event started in 2008 by Antenna in New Orleans, visitors can come and go throughout this day of drawing during which all the surfaces in The D.R.A.W.'s studio can be drawn on by folks of all ages, abilities, skill levels and interests. Our teaching artists and PUGG youth leaders will be creating drawing experiences for everyone throughout the day. This year, the Draw-a-thon will be out of this world! Visitors will be able to spin the flying saucer to spark their creativity, use alien drawing tools, meet the incredible Draw-a-Tron, and so much more! No pre-registration needed. All materials will be provided.
