This introductory workshop covers basic physical and verbal self-defense techniques through a queer lens. We will explore specific considerations for LGBTQIA+ folks in self-defense situations, building awareness of how identity can inform our strategies.

Part poetry, part ritual, a surreal exploration of the manipulation of reality through queer art. Join us in practicing the cut-up technique, which has been a poetic weapon against spiritual control for the last century and a half, wielded by surrealists and other magicians.
