BGHV and Catskills-based Fruition Chocolate Works,

BGHV and Catskills-based Fruition Chocolate Works, have launched our second Gay Bar!

This new chocolate “Gay Bar” features lavender + citrus dark milk 62% chocolate, wrapped in a bright package illustrated by Kingston-based artist Jason O’Malley - widely as @ruralmodernist . The packaging boasts that Diversity is Delicious, with an Inclusive World Blend of cacao.

This is the second year in a row that we have teamed up to create a special edition of a chocolate bar that celebrates the queer community and its allies.

A portion of the proceeds from each Gay Bar sold will benefit Hudson Valley organizations working to better the lives of Upstate New York’s vibrant LGBTQ+ community.

In 2024, proceeds resulted in donations to both the Dutchess County Pride Center and the Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center.

Retail businesses interested in wholesale purchases of the Gay Bar are encouraged to contact Fruition Chocolate Works directly.

Fruition will be featuring the Gay Bar and making them available for sale at Big Gay Hudson Valley’s Pride in the Sky celebration scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025 on the Walkway Over the Hudson.

The Gay Bar is also available for purchase at Fruition’s retail store in Shokan, NY or online at fruitionchocolateworks.com
