The City of Yonkers’ Mayor Mike Spano’s LGBTQ Advisory Board in conjunction with the Downtown Yonkers Business Improvement District is organizing the city’s first ever pride event to be held Friday, June 8th through Saturday, June 9th, 2018. The Mayor’s LGBTQ Advisory board consists of seven members responsible for advocating for policies to advance Yonkers’ LGBTQ+ community.
Our mission is to produce an inclusive, secure, and fun event to promote freedom of expression, motivate activists in the on-going fight for equal rights, and to honor and celebrate the diversity of the Yonkers LGBTQ+ community, their families, and allies.
