THE LOCKWOOD GALLERY | SEAN KRATZERT

THE LOCKWOOD GALLERY IS EXCITED TO PRESENT SEAN KRATZERT IN HIS FIRST ONE PERSON SHOW.

JANUARY 28th – FEBRUARY 19th

ARTISTS RECEPTION
JANUARY 28TH, 4-7 PM
JANUARY 29TH, 11AM-7 PM

SEAN KRATZERT (b.1991) is a self-taught painter who lives and works in Connecticut. His work is informed by his passion for art history and contemporary art, as well as his experience working with materials he uses as a carpenter and house painter.

Combining materials that wouldn’t ordinarily be used together and allowing them to interact organically, Sean explores the concept and processes of materials growing (or decaying) in time and space, ultimately achieving his signature color effects and surface textures.

Sean has works in private collections throughout the United States, as well as England, Germany, Australia, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Italy, Oman and Digest and Luxe Magazine.
