Drop by The LOFT anytime between 1:00-5:30 pm for:
● Button and zine-making
● Archival digitization stations
● Black-out-poetry with archival documents
● Honoring our LGBTQ+ ancestors in a traveling altar
● Oral history exhibit from the Westchester LGBTQ+ history project
● A visit from The Carabiner Project
● Snacks and refreshments
At 3:00pm, a star-studded panel will talk about the diverse ways the queer community has used fashion, art, and performance to thrive.
Recommended for ages 16+: All are welcome, but we recommend parental discretion. Panel and materials may feature frank discussions of diverse genders and sexualities.
Join us for a 21+ after party at Mazzy’s Bar in Mount Vernon at 9:00 pm, featuring performances from local drag queens.
This event is a collaboration between Sarah Lawrence students, Westchester LGBTQ+ History Project, and The LOFT LGBTQ+ Community Center.
