The Favourite

Themes of brutality and transactional love play out in a decadent world of 18th century Great Britain. Queen Anne (Olivia Colman) suffers from brutal attacks of grief and gout, and so must have assistants to help her navigate the day. Her current lover (Rachel Weisz) is preoccupied with influencing political ties to the war.
