Pride 2023 Prep Day
On May 20 (1-5 PM), we’ll all meet at our storage facility (near Rt. 9W, in Saugerties, NY) and organize our inventory into storage bins that we will easily be able to bring with us to Pride events throughout the month of June.
Volunteers will be asked to sort, fold, and organize clothing. There may be some heavy lifting for some, but it’s not required. Cis allies are welcome to sign up to assist.
Our storage is in a climate-controlled indoor unit, but most of the prep will take place outside on flat, level concrete. Masks are required indoors and optional outdoors. We will provide water and snacks.
Volunteers can sign up for 1-4 hour shifts, whatever works with your schedule. We will send a follow-up email with the storage facility’s address and entry code.
