FW Murnau’s landmark vampire tale of Thomas Hutter’s seemingly innocent and lucrative real estate deal with the reclusive Herr Orlok. Despite the feverish warnings of the local peasants, Hutter journeys to Orlok’s sinister castle. Too late he discovers that Orlok is no ordinary mortal who will wreck havoc on Hutter’s hometown and those he loves. Silent Film with live accompaniment by Marta Waterman.
