Fourth Fridays program for LGBTQIA+ Youth and their allies

Fourth Fridays is a monthly social program for LGBTQIA+ youth and their allies in Grades 9-12.  We meet in Peekskill on the Fourth Friday night of each month from October through June, and youth are welcome to attend regardless of where they live or go to school.

Fourth Fridays is a safe and welcoming place for LGBTQIA+ youth to be accepted, affirmed, and celebrated as their true authentic selves.  The program is free for attendees and includes a chance to meet and relax with peers, have dinner, enjoy games/activities, and be supported by trusted adults.  Occasionally, we have guests speak on topics the youth have chosen themselves.

All of our adult volunteers have been trained to ensure the safety of all who participate, and many are certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid.

Fourth Fridays is hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Hudson Valley (UUCHV).

We’re delighted to enjoy support from our friends at Peekskill Pride, Croton Pride, The Loft, PFLAG, and many other community partners.  Follow us on Instagram and Facebook.
