First Friday Poughkeepsie

First Friday Poughkeepsie is a city-wide celebration held on the first Friday of every month from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. when eateries and shops stay open late, pop-up shops line the streets and music fills the air.

First Friday’s End of Summer BBQ / Pig Roast will stretch from Academy Street to Market Street and feature live entertainment, fair-styled foods and Hudson Valley craft beer! From dancers to DJ’s to acoustic performers, there will be a show for all. Local restaurants and food vendors will be centrally located on Liberty and Garden Streets. In addition, many local eateries are offering discounts and promotions at their establishments during the First Friday events. Mayor Rolison will be on hand to welcome guests at the kick off event and will provide an update on the state of the City.
