Albany Pro Musica will present the Capital Region premiere of Considering Matthew Shepard, an evocative choral drama by Craig Hella Johnson. This poignant oratorio for chorus, soloists, and chamber orchestra tells the heartbreaking story of Matthew Shepard, a young gay man who was brutally murdered in Wyoming in 1998.
In addition to the concert performance, APM will convene a series of community engagement opportunities that explore the important themes laid out in the oratorio:
