Dust Bowl Faeries is an ethereal dark-carnival ensemble inspired by Gypsy, klezmer, Folk and Cabaret music. Accordion, singing saw, ukulele, lap steel guitar and percussion combine to create the Dust Bowl Faeries’ unique sound. The band was founded by artist-musician Ryder Cooley. Ryder is joined by Ruby LaRue, JoAnn Elizabeth Stevelos, Aaron Martin, Jonathan Byron-Woodin & Hazel, a taxidermy ram who performs with the band as their mascot spirit animal. The Dust Bowl Faeries released their debut album in 2016 featuring Tommy Stinson (Replacements) & Melora Creager (Rasputina). A Remix EP produced by Floyd Fisher of upstatebrooklyn.com was released in January 2018.

AARON MARTIN is a singer-songwriting and multi-instrumentalist who plays a mixture of blues and early 60’s influenced rock music, combined with a 90’s alternative sound. In 2017 he was a member of the band Patchwork Symphony, and he recently completed a recording of his solo work at Basement Floods Records.
