BEAR ALBANY is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with LUCKY BEAR Weekend! The fun begins with a meet and greet on Friday night, optional day events on Saturday and the main event, Kegs & Kilts Dance Party Saturday night. Things wrap up with brunch on Sunday morning. Here are the important details:
FRIDAY NIGHT – ROCKS, 77 Central Av – BEARAOKE
Meet and Greet in the Club with Pot ‘o Gold Bearaoke featuring two shows by the hot men of Bearlesque. Doors open at 9p, 21 + to enter – NO COVER
SATURDAY DAY – Out & About on your own!
Enjoy the sites of downtown Albany and the many fine eateries. You can also venture across the river for the Collar City Kilt Fest. Check it out http://kiltrace.com
Whatever you decide to do during the day, don’t get too spent because you don’t wanna miss the Saturday night party at ROCKS.
SATURDAY NIGHT – ROCKS, 77 Central Av – Kegs & Kilts
Gear up for the main event! Dust off your kilt and go commando. Dance your ass off in the club or chill out in the pub. Guest DJ, drink specials, give-a-ways and more. Doors open at 9p, 21+ to enter – $5 cover.
SUNDAY – ROCKS, 77 Central Av –Bear Brunch
Meet with the bears one last time as the weekend wraps ups. ROCKS has a great Irish Brunch menu planned featuring David’s famous corned beef hash. 11a – 2p, fixed price.
HOST HOTEL:
You can request your reservation for studios, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom suites by calling the hotel directly at 518-860-1500. Be sure to book your room in advance to receive the following special BEAR ALBANY rates:
• $95 per night for studios
• $99 per night for one-bedroom suite
• $189 per night for two-bedroom suites
Make sure to mention you’re part of the “BEAR ALBANY group” to get the discounted rate and book early as the discounted room block almost always sell out. Once you’re out at the bar event, ask one of the BEAR ALBANY folks about the hospitality suite for complimentary refreshments and fun when the bar party is over.
TRANSPORTATION:
The host hotel no longer offers a shuttle, so BEAR ALBANY recommends cabbing or driving responsibly to and from the event venue. Someday we will have UBER! But for now….
