CENTERstage Productions is thrilled to announce auditions for the family favorite musical, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang directed by Duane Olson.
An eccentric inventor, Caractacus Potts, sets about restoring an old race car from a scrap heap with the help of his children, Jeremy and Jemima. They soon discover the car has magical properties, including the ability to float and take flight. Trouble occurs when the evil Baron Bomburst desires the magic car for himself. The family joins forces with Truly Scrumptious and batty Grandpa Potts to outwit the dastardly Baron and Baroness and their villainous henchman, the Childcatcher.
Filled with amazing stage spectacle and unforgettable songs, including the Academy Award-nominated title song, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang – its a high-flying, fun-filled adventure.

Seeking: Performers adept in acting, singing, and dancing. This musical requires a LARGE ensemble; an equal mix of men AND women. Dancers encouraged to audition. A separate ensemble of about 8 children is also needed, particularly for Act II.
Prepare / Bring: 16 – 32 bars of a song from a known musical or one in the style of the show. Bring your sheet music for our pianist. Please have your schedule ready and be prepared to list your conflicts.
