We loved seeing all the families and youth that joined us at the Queer Families Festival that we created in partnership with our friends at @dutchesspride - and @katarinamirage - thank you for another great story time event!

Over the last two years Pride In The Sky has broug Over the last two years Pride In The Sky has brought together thousands of members of our community to kick off Pride season on the Walkway Over the Hudson in Poughkeepsie + Highland, New York.

We’re so excited to bring this FREE event back for a third year on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 3pm to 10pm.

Looking back over the photos of the people of Pride In The Sky, one of the most profound things that stands out to us is the diversity of the attendees. This event is for everyone and its truly makes us PROUD to see how the Walkway continues to connect us ALL for an evening of pure joy 212 ft. in the air above the Hudson River.

As the editorial team at Chronogram recently wrote: “Pride in the Sky has, in short order, become one of those events that feels inevitable in retrospect. The Walkway—once a railroad bridge, now a linear park—was always going to be a stage for something like this. The only surprise is how quickly it has filled that role, drawing thousands into a shared space where celebration and landscape reinforce each other. Pride, here, doesn’t just march. It crosses.”

We hope that you’ll join us - and our Hudson Valley community - on the Walkway on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Register online now for this FREE event at biggayhudsonvalley.com/pride.
