One of my favorite iconic images of our Big Gay Hudson Valley is the Mid-Hudson Bridge. With its span connecting Poughkeepsie to our humble home in Highland, the LED lights installed along the bridge are often changed to meet the theme of a particular month; Pink in October for Breast Cancer Awareness, Red, White and Blue during July, and so on and so forth. However, I cannot help but notice that lights along the bridge have been rainbow all month. Is it perhaps some gay pride festival I have grown unaware of? Maybe it’s just the NY State Bridge Authority trying to breathe some color into an otherwise monochromatic Hudson Valley February? Or maybe its just dumb-luck that were working away on this website… and they are preparing for the arrival of BigGayHudsonValley.com… hmmm…
