half_moon9_smWhile I am sure that many of your have plans for Memorial Day weekend that will likely take you out of town, for those that will be in the Poughkeepsie area on Memorial Day Monday, I would encourage you all to come and take a tour of the Half-Moon with your Big Gay Hudson Valley.com bloggers – Stephan & Patrick!

Yes, you heard it right, the boys of Big Gay Hudson Valley.com will be serving as volunteer tour guides on the replica of the Half Moon – the ship that Henry Hudson sailed up the river that now bares his name in 1609.

The tours will take place on Sunday, May 24th and Monday, May 25th from 12 noon to 5pm each day in Poughkeepsie’s Waryas Park. Please note that the number of tour tickets is limited each day, and you will need to pay a small fee to climb aboard the ship for a tour. Want to know more or make a reservation?
