Happening at the beautiful Cunneen-Hackett Center for the Arts on Vassar Street in the City of Poughkeepsie, Big Gay Hudson Valley has taken over this stunning Victorian theater and turned it into the region’s premier burlesque venue – if just for one night. With one of the most uniquely shaped theaters in the region the stage for HUNG With Care will not only host six of New York City’s most well-known stars of both burlesque and boylesque – it will also be adorned with set pieces created by one of the city’s best known three dimensional set painters. And just wait until you see our 15ft. tall Nutcrackers!
Come down earlier in the day and tour one – or a few – of the Hudson Valley’s Great Estates in all their holiday splendor, or tour the Frances Lehman Loeb Gallery at Vassar College. Before the show take some time to experience a meal or a drink at any one of the City of Poughkeepsie’s newest restaurants – all located within walking distance to the theatre. These include:

Once HUNG With Care concludes, join the cast for the official after party at the Mill House Brewing Company that should starts at 10:30pm. With three floors of music, dancing, and fun this will be the perfect opportunity to take photos with the stars of the show, compare notes on your favorite performances, and generally spread some more holiday cheer.
