Your new iPod, perhaps that new iPhone… Chances are if you are like most modern homosexuals, you enjoy all those fun new technological advances that add a bit of flare to the everyday routine. But what do you do with yesterday’s technology when its time to send it out to pasture?
Well, here’s a great suggestion; In recognition of Earth Day – The Dutchess County Fairgrounds, in partnership with Advanced Recovery, Inc. and the Hudson Valley Green Fair – is hosting an Electronics Take-Back Days program April 24th, 25th and 26th in Rhinebeck.
For just $10 per carload, individuals can bring as much of their old electronic equipment as they can fit into their cars to the Fairgrounds (between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.), and for a flat fee of $10 per car, and leave those items for safe, effective disposal/recycling by Advanced Recovery, Inc. Anyone who does so will receive up to two discount coupons for $2.00 off the $8.00 price of admission to the Hudson Valley Green Fair.
Items Accepted: Cables, Cell phones, Computer monitors, Copiers, CPUs, CRTs, DVD players, Fax machines, Keyboards, Laptops, MP3 players, Modems, Old computers, Printers, Radios, Rechargeable batteries, Scanners,
Stereo equipment, Telephones, Terminals, TVs, Typewriters, VCRs, and VHS players.
So, take advantage of the warm weather this coming weekend to clean out the garage, and take all those old CPUs, Computer Monitors, and 8-Track Players back to be recycled into some new, more fabulous technological advances! Happy Earth Week!
