So, Are you Prided-Out yet?
We sure hope not! There is a lot going on this weekend; Greene County is celebrating its first River Pride festival in Catskill on Saturday, and Central NY Pride is also celebrating Pride in Syracuse this weekend. While we realize Syracuse is far for most, I would encourage everyone to come out show your Pride in Greene County this Friday and Saturday. Being their first event, let’s be sure to show everyone in Greene County just how PROUD their community can be!
Just a reminder that tickets for the Big Gay Hudson Valley Cruise to Bannerman’s Island are selling swiftly, so if you have not yet purchased your ticket for Saturday, June 27th at 1:30pm, please take a moment to do so now. Following the cruise, your ticket stub will be good for a half-price drink of your choice over at Gay-Owned Chill Wine & Tapas Bar on Main Street in Downtown Beacon.

We know how much our furry friends mean to us, so if you have been looking for a Vet in area, stop by and say “hey” to Dr. Impelizerri as they debut the Grand Opening of their new 24-hour Emergency Care Center this Saturday.
Truman’s Grand Opening (Finally!), New Paltz @ 8pm
As many know, the opening of Truman’s – the new homo-bar in New Paltz – has been on hold for three years as they have been attempting to work out all the details of their liquor license. Well, they have apparently sorted things out, and they are having a “soft-opening” this coming Saturday night at 8pm.
