Welcome to another – CHILLY – edition of BGHV Weekend. To say it has been cold outside is an understatement, but all the more reason to turn up the heat on your social life, and get out there any enjoy all the Hudson Valley has to offer.
Last weekend one dozen men braved the cold to join us at the home studio of local gay artist, William Noonan, in Newburgh for BGHV’s first-ever male figure drawing classes. As you can see by the photo below, some of those present may have been chillier than others, but everyone that joined us had a great time. The seco
nd half of the classes will occur on January 24th, and we will be sure to offer more such drawing classes in the near future. That said, if you missed having the opportunity to join us this time around, we will be sure to do them again soon!
For all of you fans of WAMC, Northeast Public Radio, be sure to check out our newest Big Gay Interview with Susan Barnett, their Hudson Valley Bureau Chief. Susan sat down with us last week to talk about a few critical issues affecting the LGBTQ Community – and the interview is only available here on BGHV.
In addition to interviewing local people of note, we here have also been busying planning our events for 2010. While we cannot tell you all the details yet (frankly we don’t know them all either), please be sure to
