🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈On Sunday, May 18, 2 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈On Sunday, May 18, 2025 we had the honor of introducing one of the World’s Largest Transgender Pride Flags at Big Gay Hudson Valley’s Pride In The Sky On the Walkway Over The Hudson.

Measuring 125 ft in length and 16 ft in width, thank you to the hundreds that helped us to carry not just this flag, but also a 600 ft. section of the World’s Largest original 8 color Gay Pride flag made by Gilbert Baker (its creator) himself across the Walkway.

Brought together in the center, this was our way of showing that we’ll always be there to support our trans siblings by not letting the ‘T’ in LGBTQ+ be erased.

Made possible thanks to hundreds that supported out GoFundMe, this team’s Pride flag will now spend Pride season appearing at other Pride events in New Paltz, Poughkeepsie, Kingston, Albany and New York City!

Thank you to @madexhudson for constructing this giant symbol of resistance as we all come together for Pride!

Thank you to everyone that joined Big Gay Hudson V Thank you to everyone that joined Big Gay Hudson Valley for Pride In The Sky on Sunday, May 18th on the @walkwayoverthehudson ! Spanning the mighty Hudson River, the event brought together both sides of the river in support of our LGBTQ+ Community.

Pride In The Sky featured two community festivals - one on the each side of the Walkway in Dutchess and Ulster Counties.

At 6pm we marched two giant Pride Flags across the Walkway with the support of hundreds of volunteers. The first being the World’s Largest Trans Pride Flag which was made right here in the Hudson Valley by @madexhudson, the creation of which was made possible thanks to hundreds of donations from community members. The second was a portion of the world’s largest original 8-color Pride flag made by its creator, Gilbert Baker himself.

The evening featured live music & entertainment by the @minorikeys , @sirgogogadget @justandramada @charleybisquit along with an incredible DJ set 212 feet in the air brought to you by @prephab and @superiorsounds - photos by @hvfoodphotography + aerial footage by @etvisualss

This free event was made possible by our very good friends at the organizations and businesses below. Pleas be sure to thank them for their support of the Hudson Valley’s LGBTQ community and for making events like Pride In The Sky possible.
