Spanning the mighty Hudson River, Pride In The Sky brought together both sides of the river in support of our LGBTQ+ Community during the second annual edition of this event. This free event was made possible by our very good friends at the organizations and businesses below. It’s been four solid weeks of Pride events and w It’s been four solid weeks of Pride events and we must say that it’s been absolutely inspiring. Traveling the state - from NYC to Albany - and everywhere in between the strength and resilience of our community is incredible. The stories, the people, and the experiences that we’ve heard, met, shared and received as we’ve traveled the state with the world’s largest transgender pride flag have filled us with Pride and a full range of emotions. 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈On Sunday, May 18, 2 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈On Sunday, May 18, 2025 we had the honor of introducing one of the World’s Largest Transgender Pride Flags at Big Gay Hudson Valley’s Pride In The Sky On the Walkway Over The Hudson. Measuring 125 ft in length and 16 ft in width, thank you to the hundreds that helped us to carry not just this flag, but also a 600 ft. section of the World’s Largest original 8 color Gay Pride flag made by Gilbert Baker (its creator) himself across the Walkway. Brought together in the center, this was our way of showing that we’ll always be there to support our trans siblings by not letting the ‘T’ in LGBTQ+ be erased. Made possible thanks to hundreds that supported out GoFundMe, this team’s Pride flag will now spend Pride season appearing at other Pride events in New Paltz, Poughkeepsie, Kingston, Albany and New York City!
