Advertising Order Form
Thank you for supporting Big Gay Hudson Valley’s work by buying into our advertising program. We’re excited to help you grow your business & reach with our local & visiting LGBTQ+ community. The FAQ below provides more information about our programs – give them a read through and then scroll down to process your order using our secure online form.
Digital Run of Site ads are in rotation across our highest trafficked pages on BigGayHudsonValley.com including:
- Major site sections (Home, Community Events Calendar, City Guides, et al)
- All blog posts
- All events posted to our community calendar
NOTE: There are a handful of pages that are not ad-supported. These are generally structural pages like Terms & Conditions, et al.
All ads are added to a group and randomly generated. Ads are clickable to the URL provided at the time of your order.
All ads are a 1:1 aspect ratio and must be at least 400px W x 400px H.
Ads run for the 6 month duration may submit up to two graphics which will be run for 3 months each.
Ads run for the 12 month duration may submit up to three graphics which will be run for 4 months each.
Featured Event ads are guaranteed placement on one of our highest trafficked pages: BGHV’s Community Events Calendar. These advertisements are only available for events that are being produced locally (in the Hudson Valley region).
All Featured Events must first be uploaded to BGHV’s Community Events Calendar. This can be done for free using this form.
These ads are appropriate for:
- Single Day Event: An event that is happening on a single date at a specific time at a single location. The ad will start running up to 30 days before the event starts and will stop running after the event has concluded.
- For example a one-night theatrical performance or one-night dance party
- Multi-Day Event: An event that is happening at a specific time over a maximum of 7 concurrent days at a single location. The ad will start running up to 30 days before the last day the event starts and will stop running after the event has concluded.
- For example a multi-night limited run theatrical performance or days-long festival
- Recurring Event: An event that is happening on a regular repeating cadence (daily, weekly, etc) over an extended range of time. The ad will start running on a date you specify and will stop running after 30 days.
- For example a weekly drag show or a monthly group meetup
Featured Event ads include:
- Event feature image (the image you upload with the calendar listing or a different image uploaded when you place your order)
- Title of your event
- Brief description of your event
- Date, time & location of your event
- Link to the event detail page with more information
