Join us on Saturday, November 2nd at 11am for “Stitch It OUT” – our LGBTQIA+ knitting and crochet group. Allies welcome!
Knitting is an enduring and centuries-old tradition of needle crafts that speaks to a larger culture of effecting change. Crochet an angry uterus or mend your pink pussy hat in case it gets called to serve you again. Team up with friends to make an afghan or just enlist some motivation to sail home from sleeve island where you’ve been stranded all these years.
Whatever you’ve got on your mind, come stitch it out with us.
Meets every other Saturday at 11am at the Red Hook Public Library. Bring your own project/supplies. Guidance and some yarn/equipment will be available if needed.
