5 Poets: A Celebration of National Poetry Month
Five Poets event, curated by poet Ruth Danon, brings distinguished writers Catherine Barnett, Jason Koo, Stephen Massamilla, Silvina Lopez Medin, and debut author and translator, Tiffany Troy, all of whom have won awards and acclaim for their publications. “The event will showcase the range and depth of the poetry enlivening the literary landscape of New York and the Hudson Valley” says Ruth Danon, curator and founder of Live Writing: A Project for the Reading, Writing, and Performance of Poetry.
Five Poets is a lead-up event to the Second Annual Beacon LitFest @Howland Cultural Center, produced by Hannah Brooks, Shane Bly Killoran, and Ruth Danon, planned for June 7th,8th, and 9th.
