Auditions for Shakespeare’s As You Like It

Catskill Mountain Shakespeare is casting for it’s upcoming production of As You Like It by William Shakespeare. Directed by Sydney Berk.

Seeking AEA and non-AEA actors and musicians for all roles. We strongly encourage performers of all ethnicities, ages, sizes, genders, and abilities to submit. We care about your identity and we are holding consciousness about the stories that we tell by putting specific actors in specific roles. We will have gender fluid casting for this production and we encourage people from across the gender spectrum to audition.

ACTORS: Will be asked to prepare a choice from selected sides. A reader will be provided. Please be prepared to read an additional side of the director’s choosing (you will be given time & space to prepare if asked). If you are a musician as well we strongly encourage you to bring your instrument and prepare a rock or contemporary sample if you play or sing. Please bring a headshot and resume.

MUSICIANS: Please bring your instrument and prepare a rock or contemporary sample. If you play something difficult to transport (such as the drums), please email us a sample by FEBRUARY 20TH and we will respond if we would like to see you in person.

Auditions: February 26th 12pm-6pm in Weisberg Hall at the Doctorow Center for the Arts on Main Street in Hunter, NY

State your NAME in the subject line of your email followed by AYLI AUDITIONS. Please send submissions to info@catskillmountainshakespeare.com & include your preferred audition window (please note, we may ask you to stay and read additional sides).
