Prepare to swoon! Edmund Bagnell, 1st violin and vocalist with the internationally acclaimed singing string quartet Well-Strung, goes it alone in “He Plays the Violin”, being presented for one night only, Saturday February 15, as a special benefit for Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill. Written by and starring Edmund Bagnell, conceived by Mark Cortale, music directed by Matt Aument, and directed by Michael Schiralli, this wide-ranging autobiographical cabaret evening was developed by New Works Provincetown last fall and had its hugely successful NYC premiere at Feinstein’s/54 Below last November.
