BEAR ALBANY is kicking off 2017 with a salute to that big annual football championship game that’s coming up soon. The name of our game is SUPERBEAR XII and we have a great line up for you!
FRIDAY – ROCKS, 77 Central Av – TAILGATE PARTY
Every game starts with a tailgate party! We’re bringing you a BBQ & Bearaoke meat-n-greet to start the weekend. Throw on your favorite team colors and make sure you come prepared for the Jock Strap contest – prizes for best package and more! Drink specials and NO COVER! Doors open at 9p, 21+
SATURDAY DAY – LOCKER ROOM
Everyone needs a good warm up before the big game. Work out in the gym, relax in one of the private rooms and shower off when you’re finished.
1P-5P – Location will be announced prior to event or ask one of the BEAR ALBANY guys. Bring a towel, appropriate attire and a lock
21+ event, Cover Charge TBD
Lunch is on your own at any one of Albany’s finest eateries of your choice.
SATURDAY NIGHT – ROCKS, 77 Central Av – BEARS vs CUBS
Gear up for the main event! Throw on your favorite team jersey, helmet, or however you want to show your team spirit for the BEARS vs CUBS dance party. Guest DJ, drink specials, give-aways, door prizes and more. Doors open at 9p, 21+ to enter – $5 cover.
SUNDAY – McGEARY’S PUB – 4 Clinton Sq – BEAR BRUNCH
We’re heading back to one of our favorite spots for brunch! McGeary’s Irish Pub in downtown Albany is a great venue and very BEAR friendly. Meet with the bears one last time before the weekend wraps up. Hotel check out is 11am so we will meet right after that.

No price change for 2017 – You can request your reservation for studios, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom suites by calling the hotel directly at 518-860-1500. Be sure to book your room in advance to receive the following special BEAR ALBANY rates:
• $95 per night for studios
• $99 per night for one-bedroom suite
• $189 per night for two-bedroom suites
Make sure to mention you’re part of the “BEAR ALBANY group” to get the discounted rate and book early as the discounted room block almost always sell out. Once you’re out at the bar event, ask one of the BEAR ALBANY folks about the hospitality suite for complimentary refreshments and fun when the bar party is over.
TRANSPORTATION:
The host hotel no longer offers a shuttle, so BEAR ALBANY recommends cabbing or driving responsibly to and from the event venue. Someday we will have UBER! But for now….
