Cavemen, Dinosaurs, Rollergirls, Oh My! The Hudson Valley Horrors, the worlds first non-urban flat track roller derby team are preparing to start new season, and they are throwing a special season kick-off party this Saturday, May 9th at Snapper McGee’s on North Front Street in Kingston, NY.
Doors open at 9pm, with a live show to benefit the team at 10pm. Tickets are just $5.
Then, next weekend, the ladies of the Hudson Valley Horrors will take on Westchester’s Suburban brawl in their first home bout of the season; Land of the Lost on Saturday, May 16th.
Land of the Lost will be hosted at Hyde Park Roller Magic, located at 4178 Albany Post Road, Hyde Park, NY on May 16, 2009. Doors open at 6, and first whistle blows at 7. Kids under 10 are free with each paid “Suicide” ticket, or upgrade to VIP available at reduced rates. Regular ticket rates are $15-$20. All are invited to join the Horrors at the after party @ The Dubliner Irish Pub – 796 Main St. Poughkeepsie, NY following the show.
HVHRDs full 2009 season schedule is officially available online. Their next home bout is scheduled for July 26th, 2009.
