DESCRIPTION:The Hudson Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center is pleased to announce the commencement of this peer-to-peer support group.\nBeginning July 8 at 6 PM, at 300 Wall St. in Kingston we’ll offer twice monthly peer-to-peer sessions, moderated by nonbinary identifying Community Center co-chairs covering a range of topics to help support, educate and aid in the continued growth of our local nonbinary community.\nEach session will focus on a different topic pertaining to nonbinary lived experiences that we can learn to navigate together through the practice of communal shared wisdom.\nTopics to include:\n• “Imposter Syndrome:” how do we take our place under the queer umbrella?\n• “Looks Pretty Straight To Me:” recognizing the nonbinary in straight presenting relationships.\n• “Breaking The Binary w/o Breaking The Bank:” tips and tricks to create your look.\n• And many more, including group suggested topics and moments of celebration.\nIf you are nonbinary, you are not broken.\nIf you are nonbinary, you are not alone.\nIf you are nonbinary, you can help.\nIf, upon hearing “nonbinary,” you’re thinking this maybe includes you?
