SUMMARY:Functional Art Show and the Gifting Show – Opening Event
DESCRIPTION:In the Functional Art Show, ASK features an invitational collection of furniture, objects, clothing, and wall art created by artists and designers including Debra Abrams Jewelry, Alpana Bawa, Aris, Art by Any Means, Ayala Bar, Black Creek Mercantile & Trading / Josh Vogel, Trecy Bleich, Chris Bowman, Julie Bowman, Seth Branitz, Handmade and More, Christophe Poly, Crono Design, Anne Mac Donald, Carol Macdonald, Sean Nixon, Joseph Pine, Johnny Poux, Steven Sidrane, and Karen Wyks-Lindsey. Each artist contributes a unique vision of how art can enliven daily living through craftsmanship and imagination. The Functional Art Show will be exhibited in ASK’s Spotlight Gallery from November 1 through November 30. Complementing these exhibitions, in the Front Gallery, The Gifting Show will feature a curated selection of holiday items—including jewelry, small works, cards, scarves, clothing, pillows, and ceramic ornaments—available for purchase from November 1 through December 21, 2025. This inaugural ASK tradition invites visitors to discover locally made, one-of-a-kind works perfect for holiday giving.\nAn Opening Reception for all exhibitions will be held on Saturday, November 1, from 3-5 PM at the Arts Society of Kingston, 97 Broadway, Kingston, NY. Admission is free and open to the public.\n\n
