DESCRIPTION:What is being Queer? How can we feel the most open to become our brightest selves, the true stars that we are? Finding our own identity as a queer person can be confusing. Finding the connection of our uniqueness to our spirituality can be even trickier.\nJoin Yuval Samburski and his husband German Henry as we gather in our brightness, our most authentic selves, and create a circle of community, support, and understanding for each and every one of us. Together, we immerse ourselves in community and nurture a support system with others who welcome our uniqueness, our virtues, and our struggles with respect and kindness.\nIn a safe and welcoming space, we gather and explore what being queer means to us, and who gets to define it for us. We examine how queer identity connects to spirituality, who we are in spirit, and how we can inspire others. We engage in yogic and creative practices, including meditation, art, dance, movement, restorative yoga, gentle breath (pranayama), and sound healing. We also take part in an intention fire ceremony and an all-campus queer pride parade.\nIt’s time to come together as one and expand our notions of who we are. Together we are stronger, our lights brighter, our voices louder. Bring your scars, for they have made you who you brilliantly are. Join us as we dance, breathe, and celebrate. Let’s unlock the power of our authentic selves and shine bright.\n\n
