SUMMARY:“Phantasmagoria,” Spring Art Show
DESCRIPTION:Phantasmagoria\nFour artists, who are members of our Hudson Valley LGBTQ Community, are proudly displayed in our Spring show, “Phantasmagoria.”    Defined as ‘real or imaginary images like those seen in a dream,’ the dreamscapes of our “Phantasmagoria” artists encompass watercolor, collage, oil and acrylic mediums.  Additionally, these artists define themselves as transgender, queer, or two-spirit.  Sometimes boldly shocking in their representations, other times simply sweet or ethereal, each artist’s work presents their fundamental struggles with, and/or embracing of the morphing of their own lives and fantasies.  To follow them in their own self-discovery can be delightful, expansive and disturbing.\n\n
